Permission to set this sonnet sequence to music has been obtained from The Lord Alfred Douglas Literary Estate (Mrs. Sheila Colman). First prize winner 2001 for new choral music awarded by the Dutch Society for the Promotion of Music. Dedicated to Casper Wintermans, Hans Petri en Johathan Brown. The world première took place on 30 September 2001 at the Parkstad Limburg Theater in Heerlen (The Netherlands), performed by the vocal ensemble Lagrime.
