Toelichting:
This critical edition by Koenraad Sterckx is based on the Lavergne manuscript, kept in the library of the Brussels conservatory. The editor works as researcher and piano accompanist at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
This sonata was discovered in 2017 and contains three movements. In the autograph the third movement remained unfinished. In this edition, the third movement was completed by the Belgian composer Bram Van Camp in the style of Ysaÿe.
