Bijzonderheden: First commissioned by Marion Causse, this work is based on my woodwind quintet ’Lo que vi en el agua’ and was first performed by her on June 9, 2014, at Nutshuis, The Hague, Netherlands.
This edition features the alto flute and voice version, written for Robin Meiksins, who premiered it on September 15, 2018, as part of her online series 52 Weeks of Flute (Week 37). The original for soprano flute and female voice is dedicated to Marion Causse; the male voice adaptation, also for soprano flute, to Maarten Reumkens; and the alto flute version to Robin Meiksins.
