Bijzonderheden: This piece is rooted in my memories of Pontoise. Maurice often encouraged me to practice tongue twisters, as I struggled to pronounce the sounds R and L. Before each lesson, he would have me repeat them, and then the two of us would inevitably end up laughing together. Despite his profound and very serious musical nature, Maurice possessed a wonderful sense of humor and a grounded, warm personality.
