Program Note:
Swinging is such a fleeting thing.
Time flows differently.

Between what was and what may yet come,
A path emerges.
It moves back and forth,
At the pace of swinging; it dreams steadily.

Existing in a reality free of divisions, disruptions, and clashes,
It reaches out to me.

Carelessly.
Seriously.
I endure.

"Limen" is a sound installation for violin, cello, and space. The piece explores the liminal sphere and the time of a child, becoming a phenomenon that intertwines the planes of time and adolescence into a rite of passage.
