Toelichting:
Program note (English): In this song cycle I worked toward a goal of clarity and simplicity. I was also highly influenced by the extremely rhythmic manner of recitation by Dylan Thomas in his recorder readings. The songs are dedicated to Edith Lateiner Grosz, from whom I learned so much about rhythm. - RON FORD
