Program note (English): In this piece a striving for intensity and vitality was crucial. Within a rather rigorous montage-form, I tried to realize a music that pushes on. Although the construction should be tight, High-Tech-like, it may not reveal its secrets at first hearing. The aim was to relate and combine a limited number of musical elements so as to create a lively game that renders these elements 'significance'. Characteristic of this piece turned out to be the absence of contrapuntal thinking. This was evidently determined by a desire for clarity; the events seldomly coincide, they follow one another in quick succession. - JOEL BONS
