Program note (English): For those who find it useful to follow a programmatic description, I might say that the piece roughly adheres to a series of impressions and reflections I experienced on a walk through the Dutch dunes which ended by the sea. It was in early spring and was a day of briljant sunshine and breathtaking wind. The 'slow movement' corresponds to a moment of repose on some higher terrain which gave a more elevated perspective of the surrounding landscape.
