Toelichting:
'At first, At once' (1998) was written after several improvisation sessions at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Enschede. In 2018, working with flutist Ferenc Hutÿra results in a completely rearranged and further developed composition.
Also in 'At once 2.0' one can find residues of my first musical impressions, mainly jazz and pop music from the fifties and sixties besides (classical) music from all over the world. Those impressions are later of course flooded by the elements of other music from the 20th and 21th century with all his experiments and state-of-the-art improvements. But still those roots work like a kind of gravity on with my musical ideas and explorations circle about.
