Toelichting:
Nostos: the heroic return from an epic journey, often over sea. Our idea of what constitutes an odyssey may have changed, but our groove hasn’t. Nostos is an example of what might be called ‘urban classical’ music, reclaiming the term ‘urban’ from its reductive music industry stereotype. It draws on New York minimalism but is infused with dance rhythms that owe more to the street than to the concert hall.
