Program note (English): In 1991 the Japanese pianist Aki Takahaski asked me to make an arrangement for piano solo of one of the Beatles songs for her CD Hyper-Beatles. I felt immediately attracted to George Harrison's song Within you without you. Like Harrison I use many musical elements from eastern cultures in my compositions. In my composition George took the wrong plane I rearranged Harrison's Indian arrangement of his song Within you without you into a Balinese one. The title is a kind of understatement: by mistake George Harrison took the wrong plane to India and landed on the Indonesian island Bali. - JAN ROKUS VAN ROOSENDAEL
