Earthly Chants is inspired by various chanting traditions from around the world:
I. The Singing Wall: Buddhist Monks from Tibetan
II. Om to the Killer B’s: Vedic chants from India
III. Don’t Forget Everyday, Your Funky Prayers To Say: medieval polyphonic chant from Europe
Since they are all beautiful vocal forms, my goal was to bring out both the color and singing quality of the instruments.
